Nomina Anatomica Veterinaria

The Nomina Anatomica Veterinaria (often abbreviated as NAV) is a text prepared by the International Committee on Veterinary Gross Anatomical Nomenclature. It is used as the standard reference for anatomical (zootomical) terminology in the field of Veterinary Science.

The text is continually under revision. The fifth edition is available free of charge from the World Association of Veterinary Anatomists (WAVA) in portable document format,[1] and has not been printed commercially. The 4th edition, published in 1994,[2] was the last commercially printed edition.
